OVERVIEW.

The Immuta Documentation System is an online resource that helps users understand the platform, its features, and how to use them effectively.

When working with complex data security tools, the fragmented documentation and unclear graphics made it difficult for users to understand platform capabilities and workflows.

I designed 14 core graphics in 2 variations (light and dark mode) for Immuta’s documentation system, used throughout the platform to support user understanding and consistency.

Today, the documentation system is a core component of Immuta’s support system, allowing users across experience levels and use cases to understand the platform and its features.

PROBLEM.

The existing graphics documentation book had a complex visual hierarchy that was difficult to understand and navigate.

As part of the redesign, I created a new graphics documentation book that is more user-friendly, easier to understand, and scalable for future graphic needs.

Color palette

DESIGN PROCESS.

The first thing I needed to do was to create a color palette that was consistent and used throughout the documentation.

Because the documentation needed to be responsive across light and dark mode, I kept the color palette simple and easy to differentiate, following WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

The high contrast blue against the background kept the text and graphics easily readable.

Comparison

SCALABILITY.

The ability to highlight individual components and sections within the graphics makes updates effortless and enables quick creation of new visuals.

DELIVERABLES.
